KPFA Local Election Supervisor
Pacifica is governed by the Pacifica National Board, and each of Pacifica’s 5 stations is overseen by a Local Station Board elected by the members of that station. Pacifica is hiring a Local Election Supervisor for each station to oversee the election.
The duties are as follows:
KPFA
KPFK
PD Aguilar writes:
KPFT listener candidate elections results, in order of rounds:
Sandra Rawline
C. Lee Taylor
Ted Weisgal
Deb Shafto
Alberto Luera
Richard Uzzell
Melinda Iley-Dohn
Evelyn Bethune
Mary Dennis
Alternates: Ester King, David Salerno
Congratulations to the winners!
We have extended the KPFT Local Station Board Elections for two more weeks, until November 30. Because the ballots (BLUE ENVELOPES!) were mailed from California a week late, and because we have received to date only 51% of the returned ballots necessary to make quorum and to certify our elections, our National Election Supervisor, Casey Peters, has recommended that we continue our LSB elections until the end of November.
