I'm pleased to report KPFA's Summer Mini-Fund Drive exceeded its goal, earning (as of this writing) roughly $360,000 against a budgeted goal of $340,000 in 8.25 days. Web donations will continue to trickle in for the next week or so.

Congratulations and thanks are due to KPFA's hard-working staff, dedicated phone room volunteers, and generous listeners, all of whom pulled together to ensure the station's continued financial health.

The deadline for getting your KPFA membership up-to-date in time to vote in this fall's Local Station Board election is August 31. Although the phone room has shut down, you can still give online at kpfa.org. Most of the fund drive's thank-you gifts will be available there for a limited time.
