We did not make quorum, but provisionally approved minutes and discussed
items on the agenda.

Announcements:

Wednesday benefit for Avotcja announced; blank book and donation
envelope passed.

Solicited Apprenticeship Program document regarding email guidelines could
not be located or does not exist.  One of us may write an original document
on the topic.

Instead of pursuing his own proposal, Alfredo agrees with Watchdog producer
to work together on that already-approved program.

Still no proposal for Power to the Peaceful; may become national special.

Minutes corrections:

1 August: Black August special to run until noon, not midnight.
8 August: Kris absent only, not also present.

Ongoing programming:

Proposal to offer 11:00 - noon Saturday slot to Kevin Vance presented
by one member and declared a "departmental" or personnel matter
inappropriate for Program Council consideration by another member.

Issue of irregular host attendance for Live from Aztlan also declared
inappropriate by same member.

Informativo Pacifica immaturity discussed.

"Crossing East" complimented and better publicity recommended.

program information.
